Response to Video

I thought the video was very humorous and fun to watch, but I also found it interesting that even though they were not speaking English I could still tell what was going on just through their vocal inflexions and physical movements. (Also minus the subtitles, becase ignoring the subtitles I was still able to understand what was going on because of how clear the two men were.)
In theatre we talk all the time how theatre activities can be a good way for ESL students to learn English, and feel safe in their environment.
I also work on inflexion and strong over exagerated movements with my students all the time, and after watching this video I realized how important it is to be very clear in what and how you are saying something. This video was not only fun to watch, but provided and education experience for myself as well.

Browsers

For a long time Internet explorer was the only broweser I had even heard of, or knew about. Then in undergrad I was using my roomates computer and she told me to use fire fox because internet explorer was not fast enough. Then when I came to NYU I started using a Mac for the first time and was introduced to safari, which I really liked using,
When I came home for break last winter my brother told me to start using chrome because internet explorer was freezing up our computer. There was such a difference in the speeds between the two I was suprised.
However, I still prefer to use internet explorer for my HP mini, especially when dealing with google docs.  Chrome does not let me transfer docs over to word, whereas internet explorer lets me copy and paste my google docs right to my word.
